In 1774 over 300 years ago, a legend was born. This man was known for his generosity and kindness,leading to the growth and population of apple trees throughout the majority of North America. His name was Jon Chapman. But you probably know him as Johnny Appleseed, and his first nursery was in Brokenstraw Pennsylvania.

Years later, today’s Jon Chapman plans to use Appleseed’s good-will and generous spirit to Spread the Seeds of Good Design. Jon has worked with Business to Business markets, International accounts and small businesses. His work has been awarded and acknowledged. Can You Design Me a Logo?

Logos are a part of brand packages. We believe that a brand is the impression you company leaves on people, and a logo is a small expression of that persona. We believe it's a disservice to the success of brands to just do one-off logos without understanding and helping craft a true brand.

Why Brand Identity?

Design is about communication. Defining and understanding a brand's identity makes the communication clearer. If brands were people, they would have personalities– fears, desires, behaviors etc. Crafting and uncovering those personalities with clients is exciting and important work— not just for Brokenstraw, but for any team a client may partner with. If brands are people, then logos are just outfits. And we want to build something deeper than outfits.
